I'm Rebecca King, a project manager and civil engineer from Cheshire, United Kingdom and currently living and working in Dubai, UAE. I have been working for over 15 years in the United Kingdom and UAE on a broad range of exciting engineering and construction projects.
I am a Senior Project Manager for Mace. I love my career and I am passionate about raising the profile of the construction industry in women and the younger generation.
The purpose of this website is to demonstrate what a career in construction really looks like, for those thinking about embarking upon this exciting career.
The world relies on construction professionals to provide access to things we take for granted, such as buildings, transport and access to clean water and sanitation. I care deeply about developing skills in myself, and others, which will shape the world, for a sustainable future.
